What is a booking option?

The booking option is the heart of your offer. Here you determine what your experience costs and how many people can participate.

Prerequisite: You have already created an offer.
If not, you can find out how to create an offer here.

A booking option is divided into three areas:

  1. Pricing model & capacities

  2. Ticket prices

  3. Dates

How can I create & edit a booking option?

The booking option is defined per offer. You can find it within your offer settings.

  1. Go to "My Offers" in the left side menu of your partner area.

  2. Then, depending on your specialization, go to "My Courses", "My Experiences", "My Kits", or "My Tours".

  3. Open the offer on the right via "Edit".

  4. Navigate to the step "Booking Options".

  5. Here you can create a new booking option or edit your existing one.

Booking option - Price settings & capacity

First, define the framework of your booking option:

  • Title of the booking option: Assign a name for internal administration. The title is not visible to customers.

  • Choose the appropriate pricing model:

    • Billing per person: Each participant pays a fixed price
      (e.g., €15 per person).

    • Billing per group: A flat rate for a fixed group size
      (e.g., €100 for up to 10 people).

  • Set the capacity for your offer:

    • Minimum group size: From how many people does the event take place if it is a private group?

    • Maximum capacity: How many spots are available in total?

  • Choose a price type:

    • Standard price: One price for all participants.

    • Category price: Create different prices (e.g., for adults, children, or students). Here you can also set the age for the respective category.

Booking option - Ticket pricing

Here you set the ticket prices. Depending on which pricing model and price type you have chosen, you can define the various prices here.

You also have the option to add price tiers.

Example: 1 to 5 people pay €29 p.p.; from the 6th person onwards, the price drops to €25 p.p.

Booking option - Dates

In the final step of the booking option, you can add your dates.

In the next article, you will learn how to set the appropriate dates.

Do you want to work exclusively on request? Simply skip this step. The "on request" option is automatically available. You can then make some settings for inquiries under "My Account" and the "Date Suggestions" tab.

Which pricing model suits my offer?

Per person vs. Per group

Your Offer (Examples) Recommended Model Why?
Public city tour, sports class, baking course, jewelry workshop, stand-up paddling, cooking class Billing per person Each participant pays a fixed price for their spot. Costs are incurred per participant.
Team event, bachelor/bachelorette party, kids' birthday, venue rental, party boat Billing per group Flat rate for a group, regardless of whether the maximum number of participants is reached.

The Hybrid Model

Would you like to offer your experience for a specific group size at a fixed price and charge a surcharge for each additional person? For this, it is best to use our hybrid pricing model. Here is how to proceed:

  1. Choose the "per group" pricing model.

  2. In the second step (Ticket Prices), set your flat rate for the base group (e.g., 1 to 10 people for €200).

  3. Then click the button + Additional participants.

  4. Here you can now define from which number of people an extra charge is due and how high it is (e.g., from the 11th person onwards, €20 per person).

Tip: This model is ideal if you need to cover fixed costs (such as room rental, travel, or a guide) with the first group, but only have low additional costs (such as materials) for more participants.
