Here you can find out everything about the optimization score, how it can help you with course creation and improve the ranking of your courses.
What is the optimization score and what parameters does this factor consist of?
The optimization score is made up of 6 parameters that help to improve your offer and therefore the ranking of your courses on the konfetti platform.
The higher the factor, shown as a percentage, the better the ranking.
Dates are available
An individual group request is possible for every course, but public dates and group dates increase the visibility and improve the ranking on the website. The possibility of direct booking can therefore also increase your sales.
If you don't know how to add dates to a course, we also have an overview of the different types of dates and a guide to adding dates for you in our help center.
Recurring dates available
If you can offer regular dates, you are welcome to set recurring dates. The more dates you have available, the greater the choice and the greater the chance that customers will book your course.
Dates available for group bookings
If your course is also suitable for groups, please add group dates. Individual requests are of course always possible, but group dates simplify booking for the customer and also increase the ranking on the website.
The course has at least 5 pictures
A good offer not only includes a good description, but also fitting and appealing images. Good quality images draw customers' attention to your course and should give your potential customers a good first impression of your course.
Due to the layout of the image gallery on your course page, we recommend uploading at least 5 images, otherwise the fields will remain empty. You can upload up to 10 images in total. You can find tips for suitable images in this article.
Your course has a video
To provide even more detailed insights into your course, you can also upload a video.
💡Studies show that product videos can increase sales by up to 80 percent.
The course description has more than 200 words
Your course description should tell potential customers what they can expect from your course, how the course works, who the course is suitable for, etc.
A detailed description increases the trust of customers and therefore your sales. We recommend at least 200 words. You can find tips for creating your course description in a blue info box in the course editor and in our guide.
