What types of dates can be offered?

In this article, we will introduce you to the different date types that you can set for your courses.

Are you only interested in a certain type of date? Jump directly to the desired section:

  1. Single Public dates
  2. Group bookings
  3. Recurring dates
  4. Public date or group booking
  5. Multi-date class

💡 If you don't know how to add dates to an existing course, please have a look here.

❗ When you add a new date, the default setting initially determines that the date is recurring on a weekly basis. You can adjust this as required under “This event is recurring”.

Single Public dates

  1. Select “Public Date”.
  2. Set the price per ticket and the number of tickets available, as well as the minimum advance period until when tickets can be booked (e.g. up to 3 days before the course date).
⏰ We recommend ending ticket sales 72 to 24 hours before the event.
  3. Select the date as well as the start and end time.
  4. For the “This event is recurring” field, set the answer to “Does not repeat”.

It is not possible to set a minimum number of participants for public courses!

If you are unable to run a course due to too few participants, please inform both the customer and us by e-mail. We can offer the customer a rebooking or refund. You can find more information on how to handle rebookings and cancelations here.

Group bookings

  1. Select “Group booking”:
  2. Specify the minimum and maximum number of tickets required.

  3. Set the price per ticket and the minimum advance period until when tickets can be booked (e.g. up to 3 days before the course date).

  4. Select the date as well as the start and end time.
  5. Set the answer to “ This event is recurring” to “Does not repeat”.

Recurring dates

  1. Repeat the steps 1 to 3 as for a single public date or 1 to 4 as for a group booking.

    🔁 Select recurring event
  2. To add a recurring date, select how often the date should be repeated in the “This event is recurring” field.
    1. Daily

    2. Every weekday

    3. Weekends

    4. Custom

Public date or group booking

💡 You can also offer a date both as a public date and as a direct booking for groups. Whichever is booked first determines the type of date. If the date is booked by a group, for example, it disappears from the available public dates and the other way round.

  1. Select "Public date or group booking".
  2. Repeat step 2 as for a public date.
  3. Repeat step 2 to 4 as for a group booking.
  4. Specify whether the date is recurring or not.

Multi-date class

💡 If your course runs over several dates or different days.

  1. Select "Multiple dates class".
  2. Set the price per ticket and the number of tickets available, as well as the minimum advance period until when tickets can be booked (e.g. up to 3 days before the course date).
  3. Select the date as well as the start and end time.
  4. The first date is the main date and the second is always part of the series of dates
  5. You can add another date for the series of dates using the “Add Dates” button. You can add as many additional dates as you need.
