1) What are DIY Boxes
Please note that experience boxes are also referred to as kits and DIY boxes in the partner portal. They mean the same thing.
DIY boxes are an exciting way to bring entertaining experiences directly to your customers’ homes. Perfect for the holiday season or cozy evenings with friends and family.
Each box contains selected materials and instructions so that the recipient can get started immediately and independently.
2) Your Benefits
- Available anytime: You only need to define the price per box and the available stock quantity and are not tied to specific dates or a location.
- Flexible experience: Customers can choose the day and start time for the experience themselves and complete the event independently at home. No instructor is required.
- Available throughout Germany: The boxes can be purchased by customers across Germany and even Austria and are not tied to a specific location.
- Minimal effort for you: You do not need to prepare or host a workshop — you only need to prepare the boxes and ship them after booking.
3) How can you offer DIY Boxes?
- Create your DIY box in the partner area just like a regular course. If needed, you can find instructions for creating courses there.
- In Step 1, “General” of the course creation process, select the field “Experience Box” in the “Event location” section. This means no address is required and your experience box will be displayed nationwide in the search results.

- In Step 3, “Summary” of the course editing process, select that a product box will be sent to the customer. With this setting, the customer must provide their shipping address when booking.

- By selecting “Experience Box” in Step 1, entering dates is not required. Therefore, in Step 4, “Dates and Prices” of the course editing process, you only need to define the price per box and the available stock quantity.
- During booking, customers choose the number of boxes and provide their shipping address. The boxes should be shipped as quickly as possible.

4) How to define your shipping costs
- Go to your partner area and click on “Manage Courses” in the menu on the left.
- Open the corresponding course via the “Edit” button.
- Go to Step 3, “Summary” and select that a product box will be sent to the customer. If you are shipping products that require the customer to be over 18 years old, also enable this setting.

- Save your settings and continue to Step 4, “Dates and Prices”.

- Define the shipping costs for Germany and Austria and, if necessary, adjust your course price if the shipping costs were previously included in the course price.
- Save and done :)
What’s new?
You can now easily add the most important stops of your tour — we will visualize them on the event page with an interactive map. This makes your tours even more engaging!

5) How to add the tour route
We have added an additional step called “Tour Route” to the event creation process for tours. Here, you can add the highlight stops of your tour.
If the stops of your tour should remain a surprise for the customer, adding only the starting point of the tour is sufficient.
Add your first tour route now 🎉
- Log in to your partner area.
- In the left-hand menu, go to “My Offers” and “My Tours”.
- Open the corresponding tour using the “Edit” button.

- Go to Step 4 “Tour Route”.

-
First, enter the starting point. To add tour stops, follow these steps:
a. When you type the address of the tour stop into the “Address” field, a drop-down menu will appear. Select the appropriate address from the list.
b. You can then enter the name of the location.
c. As well as a short description of what visitors will see and experience at this stop.
- In addition to the starting point, you can of course add further highlight stops to your tour. To do this, click “+ Add another stop”.

Don’t forget to save before closing the event editing page again
