These factors affect the date score.
Available dates have several benefits. To visualize how important dates are, we have introduced our new feature in the partner area, the date score.
You can find the date score directly on your dashboard:
These factors affect the date score:
The higher your score, the better. The date index is based on various factors:
- The sum of all dates:
The more dates you offer, the better. All dates across all your courses count here. - The sum of all days with dates:
It is better if you offer one date on each of seven days than seven dates on one day. - The ratio of courses with dates vs. courses without dates:
The more courses that have available dates, the better. In other words, it is better if you offer dates for all your courses than for only half of your courses.
Here you can find out how to add dates to an existing course.
Why are dates so important?
- Visibility / reach:
Available dates are the most powerful parameter for increasing the visibility of your courses. This is because courses with dates not only rank higher on our platform, but the algorithm for Google / social media ads also only uses courses with available dates. - Competitive advantage:
While a customer is waiting to hear back about a date request, they come across your course and can directly book a date! - Efficiency / time saving:
By setting dates, you save a lot of time managing date requests. It is therefore easier to set recurring dates and, if necessary, deactivate non-realizable dates in the date manager than to only answer date requests. - Commitment:
A booking is a confirmed booking that you can plan with! Customers have no right to cancel their booking, which gives you financial reliability. If you work exclusively with date requests, there is always a risk that the customer will find and book another course in the meantime, even if you answer the request quickly. - Increase in sales:
Higher visibility, paired with the possibility of direct booking for the customer, increases your sales measurably!
